If you are lucky enough to live near a Meijer grocery store, then you will clean up with some free groceries this week. Here are your best Meijer match ups.

How about getting 6 Pillsbury Grands for free? We had a similar deal a few months ago at my local Giant grocery store, but it still wasn’t as good as this. My family enjoyed the cinnamon rolls so much that when they ran out, I found myself having to make homemade ones. The homemade ones were delicious, but wow were they a lot of work.

Anyway, on to the Meijer match up deals.

Buy the 6 Pillsbury Grands and then use 3 of the $1/1 printable coupon. You’ll actually make 6 cents on the deal. It will cost you $2.94 at the store and then you’ll get a Catalina coupon for $3 off of your next order.

In order to get the Pillsbury coupon, you’ll need to sign up on the Pillsbury website.

Another good deal is for Jimmy D’s or Jemmy Dean 4ct Sandwiches. They are on sale for $4.99. When you buy 2, you can get a $5 Catalina coupon for your next order. Make the deal sweeter by matching this deal up with coupons. You’ll pay only $3 for two boxes! There are several coupons to choose from:

$1/1 Printable
$1/1 Printable
Sunday Insert RP 9/12
Sunday Insert RP 10/3

Another great deal is the on your next order coupons that spit out for Meijer health and beauty items. Buy 3, get $3; Buy 4, get $5; Buy 5, get $8. It doesn’t seem to work for the trial sizes, but you can still find plenty of deals under $3 an item. It is a good time to stock up on these. Get your shelf space ready.

I really like healthy and beauty deals because stockpiling them is easy. The items generally don’t expire for a long time (or at all). Plus they can be turned into holiday stocking stuffers and gift basket items, or used in holiday goodwill projects, such as donations to shelters or shoebox missions.

Good Tip: Saving money is important – especially if you have a lot of expenses like bills to pay, loans to pay off, and all the other things that drain your bank account. Figuring out a way to save money can feel tedious to some, and like a punishment to others. U.S. News suggests that you try one of these money saving challenges. The “No Eating Out for a Month” Challenge This one is self-explanatory. The goal is to avoid eating out for an entire month. This might be super easy for people who enjoy making meals at home. People who really enjoy dining out, or ordering food to be sent to their home, may struggle with this one. It’s worth a try because spending money on take-out is more expensive than buying groceries. The Pantry Challenge This one is a variation of the “No Eating Out for a Month” challenge. The goal is to use up all of your groceries before you buy more. It forces you to try and remember why you bought a food or beverage that you don’t know what to do with, and gives you the opportunity to find a way to use it. The one exemption to this challenge is the foods that have expired. Don’t eat them! Throw them in the trash. The “No Spend” Challenge Make a goal to avoid spending money during an entire weekend. The only exemption in this challenge is that you are allowed to pay bills. This challenge is interesting because it requires creativity. You must be creative and find workarounds for problems that you would typically solve by spending money. You may have a different outlook on spending after finishing this challenge.
