Clover Farms Dairy was the first to bottle milk in Berks County, Pennsylvania.  They produce Vitamin D/ Whole Milk, which has 3.25% butter fat, Vitamin D, and calcium.  They have a 2% Jog Milk, which has 2% butter fat.  They also make a 1% Trim milk, which is low fat, and a Skim/Slim milk which is non fat.  You can also try their Chocolate Milk, made from the highest quality chocolate ingredients.  In addition to milk, Clover makes 100% orange juice and 100% apple juice from natural ingredients. Their line of fruit drinks has juice with sugar added.  There have an Icy Tea.   They also make an Egg Nog that has an unparalleled formula that hasn’t changed in 40 years.  You can get buttermilk, cottage cheese, half & half creamers, non-dairy creamers (for the lactose free), sour cream, ultra heavy cream, and heavy cream from Clover Farms.  They do not sell their products from their website, so the cost may vary depending on where you purchased it.  However, you can buy “Clover Gear” from their website!

Calcium helps your body to build strong bones. Vitamin D helps your body absorb that calcium.  Together, they work to keep you healthy.  Juice that is made from 100% natural ingredients, and no added sugar, is a very healthy alternative to sugar filled drinks.  Juice made from 100% juice is gluten free and lactose free.  As part of their Quality Assurance Program, Clover Farms has asked the family farmers they work with to pledge not to use rBST, (which is an artificial growth hormone).   The Clover Farms Dairy is headquartered in Reading, Pennsylvania.  Their products are distributed to Eastern Pennsylvania, parts of New Jersey, and parts of New York.  Those who live outside of that area are not going to find Clover Farms products in stores, but, can still get a t-shirt from the Clover website if they want one.

Good Tip: Saving money is important – especially if you have a lot of expenses like bills to pay, loans to pay off, and all the other things that drain your bank account. Figuring out a way to save money can feel tedious to some, and like a punishment to others. U.S. News suggests that you try one of these money saving challenges. The “No Eating Out for a Month” Challenge This one is self-explanatory. The goal is to avoid eating out for an entire month. This might be super easy for people who enjoy making meals at home. People who really enjoy dining out, or ordering food to be sent to their home, may struggle with this one. It’s worth a try because spending money on take-out is more expensive than buying groceries. The Pantry Challenge This one is a variation of the “No Eating Out for a Month” challenge. The goal is to use up all of your groceries before you buy more. It forces you to try and remember why you bought a food or beverage that you don’t know what to do with, and gives you the opportunity to find a way to use it. The one exemption to this challenge is the foods that have expired. Don’t eat them! Throw them in the trash. The “No Spend” Challenge Make a goal to avoid spending money during an entire weekend. The only exemption in this challenge is that you are allowed to pay bills. This challenge is interesting because it requires creativity. You must be creative and find workarounds for problems that you would typically solve by spending money. You may have a different outlook on spending after finishing this challenge.
