There are certain things that are at their lowest prices in the month of June. Don't miss out on these discounts!Between Father’s Day, and all those graduation parties, you’ve probably done quite a bit of shopping for gifts this month. That’s probably where your shopping focus has been since the middle of May. Don’t forget that there are certain things that go on sale in the month of June. Now is the best time to buy all sorts of things that you may not have realized are at their cheapest prices this month.

Book a Caribbean Cruise
June is the best month to book a Caribbean cruise vacation. The prices will be at their lowest right now. There is a good reason for the sudden drop in prices. June is the beginning of the Caribbean’s hurricane season. Less people are thinking about taking a cruise right now than they will be in a few months. Speak to a travel agent to see what kind of deals they can offer you. You could end up booking the cruise now, and taking it in a few months from now.

Victoria’s Secret has its Semi-Annual Sale in June. This is a great time to stock up on bras and panties (as well as other types of lingerie). Sometimes, they will have a Clearance Sale going on at the same time. Other stores that sell bras and panties will probably also have sales going on so they can compete with Victoria’s Secret.

Thinking about sprucing up the outside of your house? June is the best month to purchase the exterior paint that you will need. It’s also a good time to get interior paint for the walls inside your home that could use a touch up, or for a room that you have been dying to change the color of. The weather in June is warm, and a good time to do some painting. Stores that sell paints are going to have sales right now in an effort to attract the most shoppers.

School Supplies
I know that sounds really weird. Your kids just started summer vacation! Even so, June is the beginning of the Back To School Sales. Check the office supply stores for the best deals. You probably won’t know all of the items that your child will be required to bring to the first day of the new school year, but you can still pick up paper, pens, and folders. Everybody needs those!

Good Tip: Saving money is important – especially if you have a lot of expenses like bills to pay, loans to pay off, and all the other things that drain your bank account. Figuring out a way to save money can feel tedious to some, and like a punishment to others. U.S. News suggests that you try one of these money saving challenges. The “No Eating Out for a Month” Challenge This one is self-explanatory. The goal is to avoid eating out for an entire month. This might be super easy for people who enjoy making meals at home. People who really enjoy dining out, or ordering food to be sent to their home, may struggle with this one. It’s worth a try because spending money on take-out is more expensive than buying groceries. The Pantry Challenge This one is a variation of the “No Eating Out for a Month” challenge. The goal is to use up all of your groceries before you buy more. It forces you to try and remember why you bought a food or beverage that you don’t know what to do with, and gives you the opportunity to find a way to use it. The one exemption to this challenge is the foods that have expired. Don’t eat them! Throw them in the trash. The “No Spend” Challenge Make a goal to avoid spending money during an entire weekend. The only exemption in this challenge is that you are allowed to pay bills. This challenge is interesting because it requires creativity. You must be creative and find workarounds for problems that you would typically solve by spending money. You may have a different outlook on spending after finishing this challenge.
