You probably use the customer loyalty card at your grocery store. Did you know that restaurants also have this type of offer? Join the eClub or, customer loyalty club, of your favorite restaurant, and you will receive special deals, coupons, and offers all year long. Here are a few to start with!

Old Country Buffet has an eClub called “Crave Connection”. Sign up, and you will get coupons and offers sent to your email. There is also a “Text to Join” option. You can also “like” their Facebook page for more deals.

Old Country Buffet is part of the chain that includes Ryan’s, Hometown Buffet, Fire Mountain, Country Buffet, and Granny’s Buffet, so they all have the same offer. Family Night is every Thursday night, for each of these buffets.

BJ’s has a Premier Rewards Card. Register and you will receive a free mini Pizookie or handcrafted soda. You earn 1 point for every $1.00 spend on eligible transactions. Redeem the points for BJ’s food and more.

Starbucks is my favorite place for coffee and tea! Register your Starbucks gift card and you can earn rewards like free food and drinks. You earn stars when you make a purchase. Stars can be exchanged for the free item. You also get a free drink or food reward on your birthday.

Perkin’s has a MyPerkins club. Join it and you get a 20% off coupon and a special gift on your birthday. Add your family members (ages 12 or under) so they can get a free birthday gift, too!

PF Chang’s will give you free lettuce wraps when you register for their Warrior Rewards and download the app.

The app is free to download. Choose the app that is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad (and that requires iOS 4.0 or later). Or, choose the app that is compatible with Android 2.2 and up.

IHOP wants you to join the Pancake Revolution! It gives you exclusive offers from IHOP and 3 free meals. You get 1 meal right away, 1 on your birthday, and 1 on your one-year anniversary of joining.

Denny’s has a “Denny’s Rewards” program. It gives you exclusive offers and news about their promotions right to your inbox.

Good Tip: Saving money is important – especially if you have a lot of expenses like bills to pay, loans to pay off, and all the other things that drain your bank account. Figuring out a way to save money can feel tedious to some, and like a punishment to others. U.S. News suggests that you try one of these money saving challenges. The “No Eating Out for a Month” Challenge This one is self-explanatory. The goal is to avoid eating out for an entire month. This might be super easy for people who enjoy making meals at home. People who really enjoy dining out, or ordering food to be sent to their home, may struggle with this one. It’s worth a try because spending money on take-out is more expensive than buying groceries. The Pantry Challenge This one is a variation of the “No Eating Out for a Month” challenge. The goal is to use up all of your groceries before you buy more. It forces you to try and remember why you bought a food or beverage that you don’t know what to do with, and gives you the opportunity to find a way to use it. The one exemption to this challenge is the foods that have expired. Don’t eat them! Throw them in the trash. The “No Spend” Challenge Make a goal to avoid spending money during an entire weekend. The only exemption in this challenge is that you are allowed to pay bills. This challenge is interesting because it requires creativity. You must be creative and find workarounds for problems that you would typically solve by spending money. You may have a different outlook on spending after finishing this challenge.
