Many different stores and retailers have started offering a “Deal of the Day” on their websites.  This is an exciting new trend, that you really should check out.  Each day, there will be a new one for you to discover.  It is a great way to find some deeply discounted deals.

Amazon.com has been doing a “Deal of the Day” for quite some time now.  As expected, there will be one new deal offered each and every day.  Grab it fast, before it is sold out!  The Amazon.com Gold Box Deal of the Day might be on an electronic product, video games, tools, items for the kitchen, items for the home, sporting goods, computer software, and more.  Amazon.com also has several daily Lightening Deals that might only exist for a few hours.

Target has a couple of different daily deals going on right now.  One is actually called “daily deals”.    No matter what the deal is for today, you will be able to get free shipping on it.  There is a countdown in the corner of the page that shows you exactly how much time is left before this deal disappears.

If you scroll down a bit, you will see that Target is doing another daily deal called “25 Days of Toys”.    There will be one hot toy deal here, each and every day, until Christmas.  You can see today’s toy deal  right on that page.

Best Buy also has a “Deal of the Day”.  You can sign up to get an email, every day, that will tell you what the current deal happens to be.  The deals you find here might be up to 50% off the normal price.  This website also has a handy countdown clock on it, that shows you exactly how long this deal will last.

Home Depot has a “Special Buy of the Day”.  These deals are only offered “while supplies last”.  You can see the item of the day, and get a very brief description of it.  Home Depot shows you the savings in the form of a math problem, (where discount is subtracted from the original price).  At least some of these deals are offered with free shipping.

Walmart has a “Value of the Day”.  They suggest you “grab it before it’s gone”!  The deal item could be on personal electronics, video games, hot toys, and more.  As expected, the item that is offered will change every day.

Good Tip: Saving money is important – especially if you have a lot of expenses like bills to pay, loans to pay off, and all the other things that drain your bank account. Figuring out a way to save money can feel tedious to some, and like a punishment to others. U.S. News suggests that you try one of these money saving challenges. The “No Eating Out for a Month” Challenge This one is self-explanatory. The goal is to avoid eating out for an entire month. This might be super easy for people who enjoy making meals at home. People who really enjoy dining out, or ordering food to be sent to their home, may struggle with this one. It’s worth a try because spending money on take-out is more expensive than buying groceries. The Pantry Challenge This one is a variation of the “No Eating Out for a Month” challenge. The goal is to use up all of your groceries before you buy more. It forces you to try and remember why you bought a food or beverage that you don’t know what to do with, and gives you the opportunity to find a way to use it. The one exemption to this challenge is the foods that have expired. Don’t eat them! Throw them in the trash. The “No Spend” Challenge Make a goal to avoid spending money during an entire weekend. The only exemption in this challenge is that you are allowed to pay bills. This challenge is interesting because it requires creativity. You must be creative and find workarounds for problems that you would typically solve by spending money. You may have a different outlook on spending after finishing this challenge.
