Whole Foods Revamped their Coupon App | FreeCoupons.comWhole Foods was once considered to be extremely expensive. The company has been working on their image and taking some steps to make things more affordable for their customers. Whole Foods has revamped their coupon app.

The Whole Foods Market app can be downloaded for free from either the App Store or Google Play. The app is focused on helping customers to get the most from shopping at Whole Foods. Use the app to find local store information, thousands of recipes, and to create your shopping list.

The update to the app added new, exclusive, digital coupons. The coupons can be used at a Whole Foods store (but not on their website). The coupons are regularly updated. People who use the app should frequently check the coupons it currently offers before putting together their shopping list.

These digital coupons are only available on the latest version of the Whole Foods Market app. (You can probably update the app if you aren’t using the most recent version). The coupons will be offered to consumers who use the app on iPhones (iOS 8.4.1 or later) or Android phones (Android 4.0.3 or later).

Some coupon apps allow users to pick and choose which coupons they want to use on their next shopping trip. There is no need to do this on the Whole Foods Market app. Everyone who uses the app is offered the exact same coupons as everyone else. It doesn’t matter which kind of phone you have or where in the United States you happen to live.

Whole Foods may be trying to catch up to it’s competitors by adding digital coupons to its app. Target has been offering coupons, and special deals, on its app for a long time. Kroger started offering digital coupons in 2010, and Safeway followed in 2012.

The digital coupons on the Whole Foods Market app are easy to use. Pick up the products that you have a coupon for. Show the cashier your smartphone with the in-app digital coupon bar code displayed. The cashier simply scans the barcode. All of the Whole Foods stores in the United States will accept the digital coupons that are on the Whole Foods Market app.

Just like regular paper coupons, the digital coupons on the Whole Foods Market app will have an expiration date. Use them before they expire. When one expires, it will no longer appear on the app. This ensures that all of the digital coupons you see are eligible for you to use.

Good Tip: Saving money is important – especially if you have a lot of expenses like bills to pay, loans to pay off, and all the other things that drain your bank account. Figuring out a way to save money can feel tedious to some, and like a punishment to others. U.S. News suggests that you try one of these money saving challenges. The “No Eating Out for a Month” Challenge This one is self-explanatory. The goal is to avoid eating out for an entire month. This might be super easy for people who enjoy making meals at home. People who really enjoy dining out, or ordering food to be sent to their home, may struggle with this one. It’s worth a try because spending money on take-out is more expensive than buying groceries. The Pantry Challenge This one is a variation of the “No Eating Out for a Month” challenge. The goal is to use up all of your groceries before you buy more. It forces you to try and remember why you bought a food or beverage that you don’t know what to do with, and gives you the opportunity to find a way to use it. The one exemption to this challenge is the foods that have expired. Don’t eat them! Throw them in the trash. The “No Spend” Challenge Make a goal to avoid spending money during an entire weekend. The only exemption in this challenge is that you are allowed to pay bills. This challenge is interesting because it requires creativity. You must be creative and find workarounds for problems that you would typically solve by spending money. You may have a different outlook on spending after finishing this challenge.
