Fortunately, there are some easy to make recipes with fish that you can try.

Easy Recipes with Fish

Easy Fish Sandwich
Food.com has a super easy recipe for a fish sandwich. The recipe was created on a day when a woman didn’t want to go into town for dinner. The name of the recipe is: “Don’t Want to Go to Town Fish Sandwich Longmeadow Farm”

This recipe calls for frozen fish fillets. Those are pretty easy to cook! Just follow the directions on the package. You will also need sandwich buns. It is recommend you toast them. Put cheese on the bottom half of the bun after it has been toasted. Add some tartar sauce, and you are all set. You can also add lettuce and tomato slices.

Pan-Seared Salmon Nuggets
Southern Living has an easy fish recipe for pan-seared Salmon Nuggets. Cut salmon fillets into 2-inch pieces. You can season them with salt and pepper if you like.

Spray them with vegetable cooking spray and cook them in a hot non-stick skillet over medium-high heat for 1 minute on each side. Picky eaters may find fish more appealing when it is presented in a format that resembles chicken nuggets.

The recipe is specifically for the pan-seared Salmon nuggets. It is up to you what you would like to serve them with. Some easy suggestions include: rice, pasta, or salad.

Chip-Crusted Fish Fillets
This is a different take on the traditional “fish and chips”. Typically, that recipe includes battered fish that has been fried and a serving of what American call french fries (which are called chips in the UK). This recipe actually uses what Americans call chips (which are called crisps in the UK) to coat the fish.

Start with 6-ounce cod fillets. Put them on a parchment lined cooking sheet and brush them with mayonnaise. Sprinkle with salt. Press some crushed chips into the top of each fillet. Cook the fish as you typically would. It will come out crunchy even though it wasn’t fried.

This recipe is only for the fish. It is up to you what you would like to serve along with it. Steamed vegetables would be a healthy option. French fries are always popular.

Good Tip: Saving money is important – especially if you have a lot of expenses like bills to pay, loans to pay off, and all the other things that drain your bank account. Figuring out a way to save money can feel tedious to some, and like a punishment to others. U.S. News suggests that you try one of these money saving challenges. The “No Eating Out for a Month” Challenge This one is self-explanatory. The goal is to avoid eating out for an entire month. This might be super easy for people who enjoy making meals at home. People who really enjoy dining out, or ordering food to be sent to their home, may struggle with this one. It’s worth a try because spending money on take-out is more expensive than buying groceries. The Pantry Challenge This one is a variation of the “No Eating Out for a Month” challenge. The goal is to use up all of your groceries before you buy more. It forces you to try and remember why you bought a food or beverage that you don’t know what to do with, and gives you the opportunity to find a way to use it. The one exemption to this challenge is the foods that have expired. Don’t eat them! Throw them in the trash. The “No Spend” Challenge Make a goal to avoid spending money during an entire weekend. The only exemption in this challenge is that you are allowed to pay bills. This challenge is interesting because it requires creativity. You must be creative and find workarounds for problems that you would typically solve by spending money. You may have a different outlook on spending after finishing this challenge.
