Do you ever feel like you would get more out of couponing without the hassle of clipping paper coupons? If so, you’re in luck! Electronic coupons are a great way to save, without clipping a single coupon!
A 1-2-3 Guide to Electronic Coupons
Electronic coupons are a force to be reckoned with thanks to constant advancements in technology. Nowadays you can search the web for specific coupons and deals. You can even use your Smartphone to redeem coupons at checkout! Just the other day I received a coupon for Bath & Body Works via email. I forgot to print the coupon before I went to the store, so instead I just handed over my phone to redeem the coupon. How cool is that? Electronic coupons can come in one of several forms.
1) The Printable Electronic Coupon
The first type is the printable electronic coupon. These can often be found online via manufacturer websites. You can also find them in the printable coupons section of Freecoupons.com, where we collect printable coupons from all over the web so you don’t have to search. The printable coupon may not require clipping, but keep in mind it does require printing.
2) The Coupon Code
Another form of electronic coupon is the coupon code. Coupon codes are generally words or numeric codes that can be entered during online checkout to receive a percentage off your order, free shipping, or another type of bonus. Coupon codes are most commonly found online on both primary and secondary sites. The coupon code is a great way for the occasional couponer to save money with not too much effort. Before you complete your next online checkout, make sure you do a quick web search for coupon codes specific to your order!
3) The Saving Card Electronic Coupon
The third type of electronic coupon, and possibly the one with the most saving potential for avid couponers, is the saving card electronic coupon. With saving cards, you just load your electronic coupons directly onto a participating store savings card. When you swipe your card at checkout, the discounts will be automatically applied. For example, on websites that offer saving card electronic coupons, you just click “add” to put the coupon on your saving card. Check out Shortcuts.com for more on saving card electronic coupons!
