There are no coupon inserts in the newspapers this weekend – if there are it will be a surprise. Usually the major publishers, Smartsource and Redplum do not publish an insert the Sunday before Christmas. However…

You’ve been clipping, and now it is time to cash in. So here are some great deals with cents off coupons!

Go to Walmart and match up these super specials with coupons:
Green Giant Steamers on sale for 1.00 – minus the $1.00 coupon in the Smartsource 11/26/08 insert – FREE
Philadelphia Cream Cheese on sale for 1.18 – minus the coupon for $1.00 off two available on a tearpad in many stores – your final cost is $1.36 for two bricks. You can also use the $1.00 off three coupon in the 12/7/08 Smartsource insert.
Pillsbury crescent or cinnamon rolls 1.50 minus .40 coupon from Smartsource 10/5/2008 insert – 1.10 final cost. Or use the printable coupon here

Next go to Publix, and be sure to snag a copy of their Winter Family Savings Book and their Celebrate Noche Buena booklet. Do you have a Matchbox Car enthusiast in the family? Get this stocking stuffer free at Publix this week – it is .99 and use the $1.00 coupon from the Winter Family booklet off any toy.

Also at Publix, you can stack the coupon for .75 off one Fresh Express Salad from the 11/16/2008 Redplum insert with Publix’s in store coupon for $1.00 off one in the Celebrate Noche Buena booklet. If you buy two, you can use Publix’s coupon for $2 off additional produce. As coupon enthusiasts say, YMMV – your mileage may vary with this experience. Most Publix stores will stack one store and one manufacturer coupon, but not for multiple items.

If you live in the land of double coupons at Publix, so much the better for you. Most of Florida does not have the fun of doubling coupons at Publix.

But wait, there’s more. CVS!!!

There are a bunch of Sunday and Monday only Extra Care Bucks Deals at CVS this week. If you have not signed up for a little red CVS Extra Care Buck Card, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? You can get extra dollars back in quarterly and instant rebates at the cash register for making your usual purchases. By shopping the sales and keeping an eye for when additional Extra Care Bucks (ECBs) are rewarded, you can save a bundle and keep the savings going. Use the ECBs you receive on one shopping trip as cash to pay for the next. And of course, on your next shopping trip, you will also earn ECBs for the products you paid for with the ECBs you already have!

On Sunday and Monday only, at CVS you can:

Buy Listerine for 2.99, and receive 2.99 in ECBs. There is a limit of 5 on this item. Use the tearpad coupon for $3 off 2 bottles for a profit.
