Free Recipes and Recipe Books

There is an absolute wealth of free recipes and free recipe books out there in the world. Combine these with all of the recipes that come in magazines from your free magazine subscriptions, and you really will never get bored with dinner again (or have to buy a book of recipes).
One of my favorite websites for free recipes is allrecipes.com. These are mostly reader submitted recipes, but there are so many of them to browse or search. All of the recipes are rated by people who have tried them out, and the extensive comments that these people offer can improve a recipe to the point of perfection. You can also scale recipes and search for ingredients that you want or don’t want. My favorite recipe is one for bread machine rolls. They melt in your mouth.
Kraft Foods offers free recipes right to your inbox. These recipes can be a lifesaver, especially when it is close to dinner time, since they use ingredients that you usually have around the house.
California Ripe Olives is offering a free, you guessed it, olive recipe book. It looks like most of the recipes would be great for entertaining.
Gooseberry Patch will send you two cookbooks that use raisins and other dried fruit. I bet this one would be great for the fall or the holidays.
It is amazing the things that you can do with a box of cornbread mix. Create some hearty meals if you have some Jiffy Mix on hand. The recipe book even includes recipes for camping!
Well that should be enough to start you off for today! Check back again. There are many more freebies to be had.
