Free subscriptions for magazines is one of my favorite things to find in my mailbox. I love to read magazines, cut our recipes, get new ideas, etc. I don’t want to pay for them though. Magazine subscriptions could cost up to $200 a year, if you are faithful to them.

Instead, I like to get my magazines for free, so I am always on the lookout for new offers.

Here are the free subscription offers I was able to find today. I made sure that at the time of posting, there were no automatic renewals or credit cards needed to snag these free magazines.

Just remember that magazine subscriptions can go fast. If you find that an offer has been expired, please leave a note in the comments, and I’ll update this post. The same goes if you find a free magazine subscription offer that I missed!

Bloomberg Businessweek
This one gets delivered once a week to my driveway, not in my mailbox. My husband really enjoys this magazine, so I was happy to find it free at Mercury Magazines.

Spin Magazine

As a college student, this was the magazine to have. Get a free subscription, and if you already have one, they will just tack the extra issues on to your existing account!

Horse and Rider Magazine

If you love horses, you’ll like this free magazine offer. It is complimentary thanks to FreeBizMag. The magazine features lots of information about show riding and taking care of your horses.

Ski Magazine

It is almost Ski Season. Time to gear up for this great winter sport with a free magazine subscription from ValueMags.

Sailing World

This might make a nice gift for someone who likes to sail. When you sign up, check the box that says “please don’t send me any more special offers if you want to avoid spam.

American Baby

This is a must have for the new parent. When I was done reading these, I would let my babies have them (with supervision of course). The loved looking at the photos of babies and tearing the magazine to shreds. Free fun for both of us.

BabyTalk

Another great baby magazine for parents of young children. It is filled with much needed advice for new parents.

Good Tip: Saving money is important – especially if you have a lot of expenses like bills to pay, loans to pay off, and all the other things that drain your bank account. Figuring out a way to save money can feel tedious to some, and like a punishment to others. U.S. News suggests that you try one of these money saving challenges. The “No Eating Out for a Month” Challenge This one is self-explanatory. The goal is to avoid eating out for an entire month. This might be super easy for people who enjoy making meals at home. People who really enjoy dining out, or ordering food to be sent to their home, may struggle with this one. It’s worth a try because spending money on take-out is more expensive than buying groceries. The Pantry Challenge This one is a variation of the “No Eating Out for a Month” challenge. The goal is to use up all of your groceries before you buy more. It forces you to try and remember why you bought a food or beverage that you don’t know what to do with, and gives you the opportunity to find a way to use it. The one exemption to this challenge is the foods that have expired. Don’t eat them! Throw them in the trash. The “No Spend” Challenge Make a goal to avoid spending money during an entire weekend. The only exemption in this challenge is that you are allowed to pay bills. This challenge is interesting because it requires creativity. You must be creative and find workarounds for problems that you would typically solve by spending money. You may have a different outlook on spending after finishing this challenge.
