Kohl’s Coupon Codes and Deals

The Kohl’s deals are going fast today. Three times I put something in my cart, only to find that it was already sold out minutes later when I went to check out. This can get frustrating! Of course, with all of the Kohl’s deals and the Kohl’s coupon codes available today, I’m really not surprised.

I did wind up with some success. My original total of sale items was more than $75. I shopped only sales and clearance and got a number of great items for the gift list and for home, including large bath towels for $2.79 each, girls dresses for $8, boys character shirts for $5 and more. After applying coupon codes on top of that, the total including tax was just more than $50 shipped!

My goal was that $50 mark because with every $50 spent today, you get $10 back in Kohl’s cash that can be used for a future purchase, making the total cost really only $40. And all of the items are being shipped for free. You really can not beat that deal.

I encourage you to check out the Kohl’s sales. Start in the clearance section for the lowest prices, but don’t forget about some of the Black Friday deals. For example, Kohl’s is offering 50 percent off many different toys. I wanted to snap up the Toy Story Potato Heads for my husband who collects them, but unfortunately they were already gone by the time I was ready to shop.

You can also combine the Kohl’s Black Friday sales with the Kohl’s coupon codes and rebates! Many home electrics (small appliances) are on sale for less than $20 and then have additional rebates. When you add in the coupon codes, these items are a real steal.

On to the Kohl’s coupon codes. When shopping be sure to apply them. You can generally stack up to two unrelated coupon codes, such as a discount code and a free shipping code.

Good Tip: Saving money is important – especially if you have a lot of expenses like bills to pay, loans to pay off, and all the other things that drain your bank account. Figuring out a way to save money can feel tedious to some, and like a punishment to others. U.S. News suggests that you try one of these money saving challenges. The “No Eating Out for a Month” Challenge This one is self-explanatory. The goal is to avoid eating out for an entire month. This might be super easy for people who enjoy making meals at home. People who really enjoy dining out, or ordering food to be sent to their home, may struggle with this one. It’s worth a try because spending money on take-out is more expensive than buying groceries. The Pantry Challenge This one is a variation of the “No Eating Out for a Month” challenge. The goal is to use up all of your groceries before you buy more. It forces you to try and remember why you bought a food or beverage that you don’t know what to do with, and gives you the opportunity to find a way to use it. The one exemption to this challenge is the foods that have expired. Don’t eat them! Throw them in the trash. The “No Spend” Challenge Make a goal to avoid spending money during an entire weekend. The only exemption in this challenge is that you are allowed to pay bills. This challenge is interesting because it requires creativity. You must be creative and find workarounds for problems that you would typically solve by spending money. You may have a different outlook on spending after finishing this challenge.
