Thanksgiving could require you to run to the store or pharmacy in need of something. Fortunately, there are several stores that will be open on Thanksgiving day. Here is a list of what stores will be open that day.

Ace Hardware will be open during its regular weekday hours of 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. in most locations.

Acme Markets will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Albertsons will be short hours – so call ahead to confirm

Bass Pro Shop will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Big Lots will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Best Buy will be open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Cabela’s will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

CVS will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Dick’s Sporting Goods will be open from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m.

Dollar General will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Family Dollar will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Fresh Market will be open from 9 a.m to 9 p.m.

Gordmans will be open with reduced hours.- so call ahead to confirm.

H.E.B. will be open from 6 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Hy-Vee will operate with reduced hours that depend on your area.

Kroger will be open from 7 a.m to 3 p.m.

Meijer will be open from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Michael’s will be open from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Old Navy will be open – but the hours vary from store to store

Ralph’s will be open at 6 a.m. and close at 10 p.m.

Rite Aid pharmacy will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., but the rest of the store will be open until 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

Most Safeway locations will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Save A Lot varies by location

Sears will be opening at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving night to get a jump on those appliance sales for Black Friday.

Sprouts will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Stop & Shop will remain open during regular hours on Thanksgiving

Walgreens will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and their 24-hour pharmacies will remain open on Thanksgiving.

Whole Foods Market will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The only exemption in this challenge is that you are allowed to pay bills. This challenge is interesting because it requires creativity. You must be creative and find workarounds for problems that you would typically solve by spending money. You may have a different outlook on spending after finishing this challenge.
