All You

Have you come across All You Magazine, yet? If not, and you love coupons and savings advice, you’ll want to check it out. It is one of the few, if only, magazines out there that give you the tools that you need to save on groceries.

All You and Shopping for Groceries

While I read many magazines casually, I tend to get serious with my reading when it comes to All You. This is partly because of all of the great advice, but mostly because I want to get to all of the coupons and clip them out. All You coupons tend to be of high value, so I like to use them for many of my store match ups.

You see, by combining what I clip from All You with the local sales on groceries, I can often practice some extreme couponing and get things for free or almost free.

Where to Find All You

All You can be found in one of two places. You can go into any Walmart to the aisle where the magazines are kept to find it. There you’ll pay the cover price, which is still worth it, since you’ll save 20 times that in the value of what is inside.

A smarter way to find All You, of course, is in your own mail box. Subscriptions can always save you money compared to buying periodicals at retail.

The Downside

A friend recently asked me, “Is All You Any Good?” Of course, I am a big fan, but I did find one negative feature of the magazine. Because of the nature of it, once I have used it all, there isn’t much left to share. I wind up with a book full of holes from all of my clipping.

Since I like to practice green living and recycle items by passing them on to friends, I find it to be a negative when I can’t do that. You really can’t read any of the articles once you’ve done your couponing.

A Bonus for You

Because I like them so much and am always recommending this resource, I asked the publishers if they would do anything special for the readers of FreeCoupons.com who might be interested. Right now, they are offering a special rate plus a free gift. They will also give us a very small commission, so if you are going to buy All You anywhere, buy it at Free Coupons.

Good Tip: Saving money is important – especially if you have a lot of expenses like bills to pay, loans to pay off, and all the other things that drain your bank account. Figuring out a way to save money can feel tedious to some, and like a punishment to others. U.S. News suggests that you try one of these money saving challenges. The “No Eating Out for a Month” Challenge This one is self-explanatory. The goal is to avoid eating out for an entire month. This might be super easy for people who enjoy making meals at home. People who really enjoy dining out, or ordering food to be sent to their home, may struggle with this one. It’s worth a try because spending money on take-out is more expensive than buying groceries. The Pantry Challenge This one is a variation of the “No Eating Out for a Month” challenge. The goal is to use up all of your groceries before you buy more. It forces you to try and remember why you bought a food or beverage that you don’t know what to do with, and gives you the opportunity to find a way to use it. The one exemption to this challenge is the foods that have expired. Don’t eat them! Throw them in the trash. The “No Spend” Challenge Make a goal to avoid spending money during an entire weekend. The only exemption in this challenge is that you are allowed to pay bills. This challenge is interesting because it requires creativity. You must be creative and find workarounds for problems that you would typically solve by spending money. You may have a different outlook on spending after finishing this challenge.
