My Walmart shopping trip is usually on Sundays after church. I intend to take advantage of as many Walmart freebies and low cost items as I can. I will post here tomorrow, and let you know how I make out. Some of the more interesting deals at Walmart are these:
Hormel Compleats are $1.98 each. If you buy two, you can use the $2 coupon off one from the October All You magazine and combine it with the Buy one Get one from the August All You. They are then free after coupons.
Hormel Chili Master is $2.50. Use the $2 coupon the in October All You. Final cost: 50 cents.
Some Walmarts have the Glade 4.6 oz candles for $3 this week. Use the printable $3.50 coupon from Right at Home, to get it for free.
Post Honey Bunches of Oats cereal is $2 for the THIRD WEEK IN A ROW. Use this $2 coupon to get it for free.

Coupon Inserts September 27 and Doubles at Kmart
This week’s newspapers are chock full of a huge selection of grocery coupons. There are three inserts, a Smart Source, a Red Plum, and a P&G BrandSaver. Find them here.
There is good news for K Mart shoppers, but it is not as good as it could be. Select K Mart stores will again be doubling coupons, but only the ones from this Sunday’s P&G BrandSaver insert. They will double up to $2 face value, with a limit of 5 coupons per day per customer doubled.
I mean really, why bother?
That said, there are lots of $1+ coupons in the P&G insert. So if KMart is convenient, and you are well organized, go and get your five doubles per customer per day. This might be the time to have your family members go to K Mart with you and all check out separately if you find a good deal.
Lets hope that the store staff knows they are doubling, and knows the rules. You might want to bring your local circular with you to be certain.
Also in the P&G Insert, check out Walgreens deals. Gillette Fusion Razors are on sale at Walgreens, for $8.99. Use the $4 coupon in the insert, and your out of pocket cost is $4.99. Get a $6 register reward!
Other high value coupons this week are Act $2 (SS), Enfamil premium $5 (SS), L’Oreal Everpure Shampoo, Conditioner, or Treatment $2 (SS), Tombstone 12″ $1.50 (SS), Lea & Perrins Worchestershire Sauce $2 (RP) , Febreze Air Effects FREE when you buy any Febreze Candle (PG), Mr Clean Magic Eraser B1G1F, Mr Clean Spray free when you buy Mr Clean Liquid (Both PG) .
This is certainly a weekend worth buying extra newspapers, and rounding up your search for discarded inserts. Happy deal hunting!
Sunday Coupons 9/20/2009
There are two coupon inserts in the newspaper this Sunday, a Smart Source and a RedPlum. Highlights include a rarely seen $1 off 5 Del Monte Fruits, Vegetables, and Tomatoes (RP), some $4 and $6 coupons for Knox Powder or Nutramix for Strong Nails, $2 off Sun Crystals, and more $1 coupons for Aquafresh and Sensodyne. I hope you are caught up on your clipping or filing after last week! See our list of the Sunday Insert Coupons here.
The inserts this weekend also contain Target coupons in limited areas. You can stack Target coupons with manufacturer coupons for additional savings on an item. There are Target coupons for $2 off Pampers Cruisers, Pampers Swaddlers, and $1.50 or .50 off Charmin.
My cousin found some really great “Blinkie” coupons this week at her local Publix. Blinkies are those coupons that are in the little shelfside machine with the blinking red light. She found a $1 off coupon for Weight Watchers Frozen Novelties (Exp 11/30/2009) and $1 off any 2 Kozy Shack products (exp 12/31/2009. At Walgreens, she found a tearpad .50 off any Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream Bar.
A lot of our readers have downloaded my free e-book when they register. I hope the book is helping you. We have a spot in our forums “Ask Marnie”. This is a place for you to ask any questions about coupons, finding deals, or anything you have a question about on this site. Visit our forums here
Here at FreeCoupons, we are starting to get Black Friday info coming in. I’ll be posting this in the coming weeks as soon as it is verified. Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving when stores traditionally have some great deals to entice you to visit in the wee hours of the morning! In recent years, this has been followed by Cyber Monday, with specials on internet sales. Cyber Monday can sometimes take place all weekend long. We’ll be updating you on the latest Black Friday/Cyber Monday news shortly in the blog and in the forums.
5 Coupon Inserts in the Newspaper September 13
This is a huge coupon weekend. Be sure to get extra newspapers. There are two Smart Source inserts, two Red Plum inserts, and a General Mills insert. There are over 180 coupons in this Sunday’s paper. Find a preview list here.
How do you get extra inserts? I’ve talked about this in my free ebook. Basically, don’t be shy. Ask. Ask your friends, neighbors, family. Ask you kids to keep an eye out for sources. Ask your spouse to get the coupon inserts that are discarded in the breakroom at work, waiting rooms, etc. I find that recycling centers are my best bet - not only do I come home with coupons, but with coke codes and qualifiers for some deals. This Sunday, it may be worth it to buy extra papers for the coupons. The event for couponers is HUGE.
Keep an eye for special deals coming from Walgreens this week, and from CVS as well. You may not think you use some of the products, but if you clip the coupons, have them on hand, and then can take advantage of deals that are money makers, you will have saved money on what you do need, received merchandise that you can donate, and perhaps even profited. As I have said in my e-book, coupons are CASH.
For example: Walgreens has a deal for Fructis Hair care, 3/$10. You get a $10 register reward when you buy $20. So you buy 6 bottles of Fructis. You use six of the $2 redplum coupons that appeared in the 8/16 newspaper, and which expire 9/15. Your final price is $8 out of pocket, and you are getting a $10 register reward, so you have 6 FREE bottles and a $2 profit.
So - I hope you got extras inserts in August, and saved the coupons for a deal like this one!
Sunday Insert Coupons and Lots of Printables!
Take a look at our preview of inserts this weekend. There is one Smart Source and one Red Plum insert. There are coupons for .55 off Reeses pieces, and a B1G1F Reeses Peanut butter cups. These are good when
there are sales - it means you have free candy (or nearly free). If the Reeses interest you, it’s worth getting extra Smart Source inserts.
Also in Smart Source you’ll find high value coupons for Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters, Nalleys Spears or Sandwich Slicers, and Barilla Pasta. You’ll also find coupons for Barilla sauces and products.
There are more Glade candle coupons - not free, but a buy 1 get 1 free for Scented oil Candles. You’ll want to save these, and pay special attention to printable coupons and their increasing sources. Target is a great source of printable coupons for in store deals. CVS has added a printable coupon page, with many coupons for CVS brand products. Don’t forget to check out Smart Source, Red Plum, and Coupons.com. And of course, you will find manufacturer coupons on our printables page.
Enjoy finding the bargains this weekend. Between the inserts and the printables, there’s lots to save!
Sunday Coupons & Albertson’s $25 Deal!
We have a Smart Source and a Red Plum insert this week - good offers just keep on coming. I think the manufacturers have this notion that we are all using coupons now, and they want us to use THEIR product, not someone else’s . Hey, that works for me! Find the preview of this week’s coupons here.
Some of us will receive a coupon in this week’s Smart Source for $2 off A1 Steak sauce. This is a good time to stock up on these, and get multiples of this coupon. Use it on the Albertsons/Shaws/Kraft $25 deal. Use the coupons from previous inserts to make this deal even more profitable.
We’ve updated our printable coupons page with new offers. Be sure to check it out. I am adding a lot of Try me free offers, which you can download from the internet.
Albertsons shoppers, don’t forget to check out the great deals on Post Cereals this week. Cereals are selling for $2.50 each - and you instantly get $4 off when you buy 4. In some areas, you will get free milk. Use these coupons:
