How to Use Digital Coupons

Does your grocery store offer digital coupons? It’s a great alternative to clipping coupons! It’s more organized, saves you money, and you won’t lose any because they’re tied to your loyalty card!
What Are Digital Coupons?
Digital coupons are coupons that are put directly onto your loyalty card for a grocery store. When you check out and swipe your loyalty card, your coupons are automatically scanned. They’re great because there’s no clipping or printing (wasting ink and paper), and you won’t forget to bring them with you because they’re on your card! Digital coupons also help cut down on the time it usually takes for the cashier to scan your coupons (and the impatient foot tapping from the non-couponing customers behind you).
How Do I Use Them?
Just go to your grocery store’s website and look for the link to digital coupons. If it’s not right on the homepage, you might try going to the coupons portion of the site or to the loyalty card page. Follow the instructions to register your card for digital coupons. Once you’ve done that, you just pick and choose which coupons you want loaded on to your loyalty card! That’s it! If you’d like, you can also print out a list of the coupons you have saved on your card so you don’t forget.
Now when you go to check out, you just swipe your card, and the savings show up on your receipt. Know that digital coupons won’t double or triple even if your store does so for regular coupons. Also, you should not be stacking digital coupons with paper coupons. Go over your store’s coupon policy if you have any other questions.
Does My Store Offer Them?
So many stores are offering digital coupons on loyalty cards now. Some of these stores are Ralphs, Kroger, Safeway, Fry’s, King Soopers, Smith’s, Vons, and Pavilions. Check on your grocery store’s website, or ask their customer service desk, to see if they offer a digital coupon service.
Less time, less money, and less paper cuts–sounds good to me!
