Do you have a smart phone?  Are you using it for couponing? I hope so! What with mobile couponing, barcode scanners on phones, mobile Excel spreadsheets, and constant text updates to that grocery list from your family, it would be crazy not to utilize what your smart phone has to offer!  There’s an application (app) for everything these days, and couponing is no exception!  Here’s a list of some free and cheap apps to use while you coupon!

Free

GeoQpons: This is a “location based mobile shopping” app.  This is a great app that allows you access to thousands of coupons, deals, and offers from both national and local merchants and companies.  Looking for a specific coupon? You can search for it, or browse the categories.  Not only does this app deliver awesome coupons and deals, but it also allows you to share what you find with friends through email, Facebook, or Twitter.  This app is available for Android, iPhone, Nokia, and Blackberry.

Kroger Co.: Shop at Kroger (or Fry’s, or Ralphs, or King Soopers…)?  Get this app! Now you can load coupons on your phone.  Great for all those times when you’re away from your computer and looking for something productive to do (say, waiting for school to let out?).  This app is available for Android and iPhone.

Couponz: A relatively new app on the scene, Couponz is an easy way to keep you in the coupon loop.  Read coupon feeds, search whats available locally, check out the coupon categories, and make a list of favorites! This app is currently only available for the iPhone.

The Coupons App:  This incredibly popular app really saves people some money!  The app features a real-time feed of available coupons throughout the day, a local gas price checker, voice search, and the ability to save coupons.  This app is available for Android.

Cheap

Coupon Cash: Coupon Cash has a HUGE list of grocery stores from all over the United States and the coupons available at each one.  It’s a nice application on hand when you decide to do a little spur of the moment grocery shopping.  The app is $.99 and available for iPhones.

Track My Coupons: This app is geared more towards the shopper without the Extreme Couponer binder of coupons.  It’s an awesome app for organizing your coupons.  Just enter all the information for your coupons and this app will keep them in order for you.  Also, it will send you a reminder when you have a coupon that’s going to expire soon!  This app is $.99 and is available for iPhones.

This is only a small list of what is available out there!  Take a look and find an app that works great for you!
