Green Deals
Saving money while protecting the environment are two things that can go hand in hand. Because I am a big advocate of conserving resources, I thought I would call your attention to some “green deals” that are going on right now.
Sears
Sears is having a green Sunday/Monday deal that gives you 15% off all Appliances with an extra 10% off Kenmore Elite Energy Star models 8pm Sun 4/5 thru Mon 4/6. So if you were thinking about replacing those energy hogging appliances, now might be a good time to do this.
The North Face
The North Face is becoming increasingly green about their products, especially with their spring line. There are a few products with sustainability that the North Face is featuring with a deal in April. The best selling Denali Jacket and Denali Hoodie now are constructed using eco-friendly, recycled Polartec® fleece. Another featured eco-friendly product is the technical, 15ºF down bag, Green Kazoo, made from 100% recycled Pertex® Eco ripstop shell. A range of organic t-shirts are available, as well as a large selection of full-zip jackets and pullovers made from recycled fleece.
The Sierra Club
The Sierra Club has been dedicated to protecting the Earth long before most people where aware of a problem. Right now they are offering a free backpack when you join! Not only can join the fight, but you get a really great expedition backpack, too.
