Printable Restaurant Coupons and Restaurant Deals

Posted on Thursday, May 21st, 2009 at 4:00 pm

The restaurants are really stepping up lately with coupons and deals. This is good news for us, since we seems to be eating out a lot lately (lots of family birthdays and other celebrations). Here are some of the printable restaurant deals and coupons that I have spotted lately.

Applebees is offering a 2 for $20 deal. You can get two entrees plus an appetizer for only $20. Plus if you go on a Tuesday, the kids meals are discounted by $1 each.

PF Chang’s is a restaurant near my home that I have been wanting to try for a while. They are offering a printable coupon for a free signature lettuce wrap when you purchase an entree. Just click here. The coupon is sent to your email address.

Wendy’s is offering a printable coupon for a free Coffee-Toffee Twisted Frosty or Frosty-cino when you buy one. These look good for a quick date night.

Ruby Tuesday has a printable coupon that is good for an entire entree when you purchase an entree of equal or lesser value. There are specific entrees from which you can choose. Go here to print your coupon.

Quiznos is offering a free sammie sandwich coupon anytime, plus a free cookie for your birthday. Yummy. Just go here to sign up for the club and get your offers.

One of the great benefits of all of those free magazine and low cost subscriptions is that many of the magazines contain coupons that you can use at the grocery store or retail stores. Look out for these coupons to add to your savings. Here are a few I found while browsing through my stash this morning for June issues. By the way, most grocery coupons are printed on right-hand pages.

May 17 2009 – 4 Coupon Inserts!

Posted on Saturday, May 16th, 2009 at 3:55 pm

There are a LOT of coupons in the newspaper this weekend. Two SmartSource inserts, a Red Plum, and a small P&G Brandsaver. Take a look at our list here. Remember, not all these coupons will be available in all areas.

Buy a lot of extra newspapers, it is worth it this week. Meet with other coupon clippers and exchange what you don’t need.

There are a couple of really good coupons this week. The Marcal Small Steps bath tissue is up to $4 off (making it free in some sizes). Knox has some very high value coupons – $6 off the 11 oz powder or caplets or $4 off the 5.5 oz powder or NutraMix for Strong Nails. There’s a Buy 1 Get 1 Free on select Mars single candy bars. 4C Drink Mix stick pack is free (up to 5.99) when you buy 4C tub or stick 14 ct+, and Wheat thins are free when you buy Ritz. Combine any of these with sales in your local area, including buy 1 get 1 free sales, and you have really saved a lot!

Organizing your coupons is important, especially during a week like this when you get a lot of them. I get two papers, and I often find additional coupon inserts at the local recycling center. I have found that it helps to layer the insert pages in stacks of 3 or 4, and cut the coupons all at once. Just be sure that it lines up and you don’t cut anything off. You can file them in a box with dividers for categories, or you can carry them in a binder with pocket pages – easier not to lose that way and you are not flipping though individual coupons. Some people carry lists of what is in each coupon insert such as the ones that we have on our site, and carry the inserts and lists in a binder to the store, with scissors. They match up the item with the coupon and insert date, and cut out the coupon right there at the store.

Get busy! This hobby is fun and you save a TON of money.

Print These Coupons

Posted on Thursday, May 14th, 2009 at 3:52 am

Combining coupons with sales and special deals is the way to get the most savings. Whether you shop at CVS, Target, Walmart or your local grocery store, the key to savings is to find the deal and then search for a coupon to match it.

I do this all of the time with the Sunday coupon inserts, but to increase my savings, I search for printable coupons from the manufacturers. Since I’ve already done the work, I thought I would post all of the printable coupons that I find in one easy list. The list is alphabetical by product, so you can just scroll down until you find what you want, or do a ctrl-f on the printable coupons list page and search for a specific product.

I update this list on a regular basis, so if you don’t see what you want today, check back again. I’m also working on posted coupons that you can get through the mail, in case you don’t have access to a printer, have trouble printing coupons or if your store doesn’t want to accept coupons. These mailed coupons will show a little envelope next to their listing.

There are a ton of printable coupons listed right now. My favorites right now are the $1 off All, $10 of $30 for Bed, Bath and Beyond and $1 off two Cambell’s cooking soups.

To get to the printable coupons page, just look up at the top of this website. There is a link there called “Printable Coupons (A-Z).

And if you spot a printable coupon that I don’t have listed, please let me know!

Cheap Supermarket Dinners

Posted on Monday, May 11th, 2009 at 11:31 am

There has been an interesting trend lately. Major supermarkets are putting together weekly or monthly meals that will feed a family of four for $15 or $10. Some of these meals can be purchased in complete form, while others are simply suggestions that allow you to shop the store yourself for the meal items.

What is nice about most of these meals is that they are very convenient. You simply take the meal home and then reheat it. And from what I have seen, the supermarkets are conscious about delivering well-balanced meals.

Right now, Shaws is offering a meal for four until May 21st that includes BBQ pulled pork, macaroni and cheese and a salad blend. The meal is already bundled together in one place, so you can just grab and go. To learn more visit the Shaw’s 4:15 web page.

Stop and Shop Supermarkets are offering education on preparing inexpensive meals with a series of seminars called Affordable Food Summits.

Is your local supermarket doing anything to address the need for affordable family meals? Please share by leaving a comment.

Garage Sales – Have one!

Posted on Thursday, May 7th, 2009 at 9:52 pm

Happy Mothers Day!

If you thought this was a Sunday for no insert coupons, think again. I think a lot of us moms like having the time on a Sunday to sit, clip, and plan for all the bargains we will find in the coming week. But there’s always the problem of not having enough room to store all our great bargains. It’s time for garage sales. And for veteran deal hunters, that means two things: 1. Find a deal and 2. Sell your stash.

That’s right, the toothpaste, aerosol, soaps, cleaning stuff, makeup, and other non perishables you get for free or pennies on the dollar can now make you money – while you make room for more. Put a price on it of a dollar if it regularly retails for more, $2 if it sells regularly for more than $5, or a quarter for dollar items. Sell it in bulk. If you don’t want to have a garage sale, you can donate your freebies to the spring sale of your favorite local charity, or to a thrift store, or a food bank or shelter.

Selling your freebies isn’t really a moneymaker, but it gives you some profit as you clear out for more room. Remember, deal hunters are not only SAVING money with coupons, sales, and online codes – we often find a way to combine offers and sometimes make a small profit. So we keep finding great deals – and our stash gets bigger, but our storage doesn’t. It’s also a good idea to not keep things forever.

We have a lot of high value coupons in Smart Source and Red Plum this weekend. Take a look here for our Insert preview list in PDF.

Free Chocolate Bars and More

Posted on Thursday, May 7th, 2009 at 3:44 pm

While printable coupons are wonderful, I usually find more free stuff through the mail. Whether it is a free product or a coupon for a free product, the mail can just brighten my day. Here are some of the freebies that you will want to pay attention to, especially the chance to get free candy bars.

Tomorrow is the first day of a new candy bar promotion. Every Friday through September, you can sign up for up to four mailed coupons that are each good for a candy bar from Mars. You can get Snickers, M&Ms, Twix and others including my very favorite, Dove dark chocolate. You’ll have to be one of the first 250,000 people to sign up, so set those alarm clocks or reminders for 9 am ET! Then just go here.

Free Einstein Bros Bagels

If you need something to take along to work or a playdate, or just for a treat at home, then stock up on Einstein Bros bagels with the following deals. This printable coupon gives your three free bagels when you buy three.

You can also sign up for their club and receive a free gift (which for me was a free breakfast or lunch sandwich when you purchase one.
